(evolution:22688): evolution-mail-WARNING **: Failed to refresh folder:
folder://1369085697.6783.3%40Sabayon/'Synced%20Messages': Error
refreshing folder: STATUS Mailbox name(s) contains invalid characters
The message about invalid characters might point to the underlying
question, but that is just a guess. I do not have folder with special
characters, or numbers or whatever, just plain letters.
I think that folder is under "On This Computer" and I suspect the
characters it is complaining about are the single quotes around the
name. Do you have a folder called 'Synced Messages' under "On This
Computer"? What is in the filesystem directory
~/.local/share/evolution/mail/1369085697 6783 3 Sabayon/
That behavior is the same over all IMAP-servers I'm using: Gmail,
Yahoo-Mail, GMX-Mail, mailserver of my local LUG. As far as I know
nothing has changed.
I wonder if the error refreshing the local folder causes the whole of
the refresh process to halt, even for the IMAP folders. You could try
disabling the local folders by unticking the "On This Computer" section
under Edit -> Preferences and see if that improves matters.
