Probably yes. The entire Desktop is more integrated, rather than having
a bunch of totally independent apps that don't know how to talk to each
other. ;-) Plus, a bunch of freedesktop.org standards, that integrate
and unify different Desktop Environments.
Thing is, I don't use the Desktop, just Evo. I like Evo as a mail
client, and if we ever get a credible shared calendar server going I
might use it for that as well, but for everything else I live in KDE. I
appreciate that this is not what Evo was mainly designed for, so don't
consider this a complaint, just a comment.
