Re: [Evolution] Hang on opening calendar

Do you happen to be on an SMP machine? The only way I seem to be able
to get the calendar to work on my SMP machine is to run a trace on the
e-d-s process... otherwise it seems to lock itself up and disappear.
Like there is a race condition somewhere.

So I just built and installed 1.5.8, and everything looks great,
except for the fact that when I try and open my calendar, everything
hangs. The same build works fine on another machine, so it's not a
data or settings thing (I 'gconftool --dump | gconftool --load'd from
the working to the failing setup.) The only clue I get is:

(evolution-1.5:13006): calendar-gui-CRITICAL **: file gnome-cal.c:
line 2190 (gnome_calendar_add_source): assertion `E_IS_SOURCE

Both evolution and evolution-data-server seem to be
happy-ish:

gdb on evolution-data-server-1.0:
(gdb) info threads

gdb on evolution-1.5:

It seems like it's some kind of symbol or version mismatch, so I tried
rebuilding both evolution and evolution-data-server, but that didn't
seem to make a difference. Any hints as to where to go next ?

      Thanks,

      John A.
