[Evolution] Hang on opening calendar

So I just built and installed 1.5.8, and everything looks great,
except for the fact that when I try and open my calendar, everything
hangs.  The same build works fine on another machine, so it's not a
data or settings thing (I 'gconftool --dump | gconftool --load'd from
the working to the failing setup.) The only clue I get is:

Both evolution and evolution-data-server seem to be
happy-ish:

It seems like it's some kind of symbol or version mismatch, so I tried
rebuilding both evolution and evolution-data-server, but that didn't
seem to make a difference.  Any hints as to where to go next ?
