Hi Mark,

When you subscribe to a new channel, Red Carpet notifies you of updates

had no previous version of Evolution installed, it wouldn't offer you an
upgraded Evolution, though it might offer upgrades to other Evolution
dependencies in the channel (e.g. pilot-link).
Thanks for pointing this out.
Did you install all the packages in the Install section of the Evolution
channel?
I installed all on the page I saw but this must have been the update
page. I thought that was the whole thing. I went back to red-carped and
in the Evo channel it said all updates were applied. There was a link
called 'install page' and all became clear after following that. There
was the Evolution package itself.
Thanks again Mark,
Guy.

Hi all,
I have a Mandrake 8.1 distro and wanted to install Evolution to be used
within KDE3.
I thus installed red-carpet for Mandrake, no problems.
I started red-carpet, subscribed to the channel Ximian-Evolution and
installed all packages that were suggested.
I had no error reported when the install finished.
However, I have none of the evolution, evolution-mailer, etc... executables.
I find no references in the knowledge base as in which package these
binaries should reside.
Can anyone tell.
Thanks,
Guy.
