Re: [Evolution] mac os x

I do have one comment-
Smart move looking for something other than Mail.app

Mail.app chokes on me after about 3 days worth of my high volume mail.
I kept trying it every time (looking for something better than Sylpheed
which I had been using on Linux) they updated it- but it always choked
after a few days and became unusable.

I get a lot of mail.

But now I've found evolution (RH8) which hasn't choked yet- and has a
better interface than _any_ mail client I've ever used :)

// I do wish that when updating an e-mail address of a contact, that the
e-mail address in a list that contact has been added to would also get
updated- but that's minor

hi there :)

in december i'll quit using freebsd and switch to a mac with mac os x
installed. during the "beginnings" of using this new os i want to use
the software which i use currently, i.e. evo, xemacs, abiword, gnumeric
and so on. i know that abiword, xemacs and gnumeric run on os x. do you
have any information if evo runs on os x when you install an x-server,
the darwin-base-archives and use the darwin-ports oder fink? is there a
darwin/osx-package for evo and the dependencies like on freebsd?

ciao :)
