Well, although it is a corba object ('server'), and could potentially be
used remotely, in reality it is just another local object, used via a
corba interface.
Its used as an IPC mechanism rather than a RPC mechanism.

No. The pcs only handles information for a single user right now. The
free/busy url under the collaboration page is for scheduling in the
calendar and must point at valid iCalendar formatted text.
