Thanks for the suggestions, but GConf-devel-0.12-100_helix_2001020808
didn't install libgconf-gtk-1 on my setup. I'm wondering if one of the
RPMs might not have a needed dependency on something or other that might
not be present on my machine (I had to remove a lot of apparently
unneeded RPMs a while ago because I was running out of disk space;
everything else I use seems to work fine).
