Install GConf-devel. Then life should be good...

:-) I've worked for a couple of hours to try to make this work, but
:-) unfortunately I can't move past gnome-vfs. I was able to build the SRPMS
:-) up to GConf, and upgrade xml-i18n-tools and oaf using the binary RPMs
:-) that resulted. However, when I tried to upgrade GConf from the just
:-) built binary RPM, I got a complaint that /usr/lib/libgconf-gtk-1.so.1
:-) was needed. I thought that this would go away when I replaced the rest
:-) of the components from the 013017 snapshot, so I forced the upgrade. But
:-) later on, the build of gnome-vfs from SRPM failed, exactly for the same
:-) reason. I messed around with this for a while, uninstalling and
:-) installing components from scratch again, but to no avail. I had to
:-) revert everything to the 013017 distribution.
:-)
:-) Any suggestions on what I might try next?
:-)
:-) Thanks
