Hi, gnome-libs 1.2.9 are installed:

$ gnome-config --version

gnome-libs 1.2.9

Because I'm not familiar with autogen & sons, I started `sh -x
configure` to see how the check is performed, but I didn't identify it.
What kind of check does configure do???
