That's a completely wrong approach. Nautilus is our file manager. If
Nautilus has a defect (not being able to show meta information would be
one), then Nautilus needs to be fixed. Btw, it's not entirely true -
Nautilus views can display whatever meta information you want (see
Fontilus), however it is rather hard to make it do that. Extensible
attributes support in a filesystem would make that easier.

Yes, yes, yes, yes. At least _I_ find that once I find the file I just
downloaded, I want to DO something with it. YMMV.
