Re: [Easytag-mailing] EasyTAG is getting too complicated

Hi,

By default I'm trying to activate the better option, but some users needs some options useless for new users...

But we are alright for one thing : EasyTAG needs an updated documentation! ;-) ... and it isn't my favorite job...

It's an option because some people like it, and some people don't.
It's not the default because people are used to (and using it) the way
it works right now.
Hi,

defaults can be changed if the new one is better.

As far as design principles, I won't comment on 'standards' and the
like, because to each their own.
I understand that each person/group has a design philosophy, but at the
same time, I want my software of choice working the way *I* want it to
work. If I can't get it too, I look for something else.
At the moment EasyTAG is almost unusable for new users. Believe me, I
have recommended it to someone, he was very confused by the complex
UI.

I use easytag cause it's powerfull not because of it's ease of use... Though
it acctually is for me... but then I'm quite good at adapting to new apps
quickly...

Only missing thing is support for musicbrainz...

BTW if a user is confused by some software that's only normal...
everyone is when they first try it...
I have yet to find any software that I could use out-of-the-box
and fully on first use... That's why documentation is for...

afaik all you do is select a file type in your changes and hit save...

I don't think that's TO COMPLEX for anyone...
