bonobo was created because "heaps of excited users" were screaming for
embedding controls between applications. so the comparison perfectly
fits.
Desktop search and unified metadata storage and access is not Bonobo.
I dare you say that to Steve J. and the his Spotlight developers (and
to the masses of drooling OSX users).
