Thank, I have reviewed it and I have asked a few questions :)
Thanks for the review. I will work on it. This was my first open
source contribution, I hope to get better.
I think the UI will have to be modified to be used in Anjuta, but if the
code handling the database is separated, I think it can be used in Anjuta
even if it's written in Python.
I will get back to you on that.
I think there are things more important but it's only my own idea. This is
your project so it's up to you to decide. If you write a working todo list
plugin, there is no reason to discard it. We had one before and as it's a
plugin if people don't want it they can disable it.
I'd like to work on something that strongly benefits Anjuta, and not
only a fraction of users. A better Bugzilla integration would be great
to have, and I'd love to work on that instead of the todo plugin. And
this would be of more use to the users.
No, I think you need to keep only one idea for GSoC application. Anyway, I
think adding only multiple view in the document manager is something which
is already enough for GSoC. If you do it really fast, it's quite easy to
find additional work: other improvement on the documentation manager, code
optimization, writing documentation...
Okay. Please provide me with certain implementation details for having
multiple views in the document manager.
I think the priority is to have an idea that you find interesting and that
is well defined. If you want to work on other parts in Anjuta, you are more
than welcome to do it after GSoC.
I am interested in working on something that benefits the software. I
think I'll go with working on a Bugzilla Integration feature, it
sounds fun.
I haven't thought that much about this. I think, it would need at least a
pane will all open bugs where you can read message and apply a patch with a
few clocks. On the other side, it should be possible to select several
patches and send them to bugzilla.
Alright, thanks. I'll think about how I can implement it.
Sure, you have contacted us quite advance, it is a very good point but you
have to continue.
The application period starts tomorrow (ie 22nd April), and will end
on 3rd May. I am going to start working on it, and will need
everyone's help to review my application and advice me on it :)
Thanks
Varad
