Hi..
new to the form, so excuse me if this is already discussed.
few features i'd like to see in nautilus:
1. tabs
2. split screens (like what split browser extension does to firefox)
3. Some shortcut for quick duplication of a window/tab
4. different size, view, position, background and fonts for each window (folder)
(perhaps an option for each folder to override the default settings)
5. Option for each folder to open in new tab/window or in the same window.
you could add these optioins in the view menu.
6. New section in the side pane showing Places. You should have
1. Computer, Home, Drives, etc
2. Bookmarked Folders (general)
3. Bookmarked Folders (different for each folder) - for eg i may use a few folders else where in the system when i use Documents folder. But i wont need them as bookmarks under Places or on the side pane on all the folders.
thanks n regards
jasir
