A great place for finding what lots of systems do is the Netscape.ad
file (on eg RH it's in /usr/share/doc/netscape-common*/Netscape.ad)
because jwz (I think) vented a lot of steam about "And then this OS
does this, and this OS does this, and we need this for command-line
weenies, and.." in it. It's interesting reading.
I imagine copies of those for the platforms Netscape and Moz run on
would contain quite a few nuggets of information.
