It was surprisingly easy.  Less code for us to maintain, less translations for
the translators.  Win/Win, I'd say.

I'm wavering on the soft dependency.  I'm thinking it should be hard.
Realistically, anyone who wants desktop control's going to want lockdown as
part of that.  I haven't added a little nub to the configure.ac yet, but I'll
let the dust settle on this one for a few days to allow the "Hard/Soft" issue
to ruminate in my mind a bit more.

Vincent, I owe you at least one beer.

I'm not entirely sure how many I'm endebted to Federico to at this point.

I'm probably going to be in New Yawk for Debconf next summer.  Either of you
going to be there?
