There are a variety of "I can't transfer things to my ipod properly"
bugs open, but I'm not sure any of them sound exactly like what you're
reporting.
Thank you Jonathan.
The exact error sentence is:
"Unable to transfer all tracks.
Do you want to continue?
44 of the 128 files to be transferred are not in a format supported by the target device, and no encoders are avalaible for the supported formats.
Cancel - Continue"
When that dialog appears, the files that can't be converted will not
be transferred to the device. I think the problem here is either at
the ipod database level, or it's something to do with how the files
are encoded. If it happens with all your tracks, it sounds more like
an ipod database problem.
Thank you for the explanation.
However my iPod model is xB754
Dmesg says: Direct-Access Apple iPod 1.62 PQ: 0 ANSI: 0
Hope that this info can help you/me understand more on this...
