The documentation for the python bindings I agree is not particularly
great. But they mirror the C api. I believe you can generate the c
binding documentation and look at that. Definitely look at the sample
python code (which it looks it does) Otherwise I suggest you mail your
questions to the list and/or join IRC and ask in the #rhythmbox channel
on irc.gnome.org.
