Text mail clients work best with mbox or maildirs. Your ISP would need 
to give you the option to export your mail in that format. You should be 
able to import an mbox file or possible a maildir to the IMAP server of 
your choosing, but you would need to convert that as well. You can 
always install an IMAP server on your local machine and sync it with 
your ISP's mail,which is by far better than sending your entire mail 
archive to outlook.com.~Kyle
