Hi
First I my self installed Ubuntu then installed Mate with one command.
I had no issue with BIOS settings. since you have a new laptop, I
don't think so that you run with problem like UEFI boot mode.
Good luck

Thanks for the info guys! The mate option seems to be attractive for me,
however, after I have done a small research following Vsevolod comment, I
really saw that latest Mate versions have problems when installed using
orca. I think that Jason reported the issue there in the forum. They say
that if you use UEFI boot mode, then this should work without problems.
However, I don't know how to determine my laptop booting mode as Jason has
said there. I am attracted to think that the USB drive will boot in UEFI
mode because the laptop is relatively new, but I don't know for sure. If
someone has an idea regarding this, it will be much helpful.
Thanks again,
Regards,
Mohammad

Hello,
Well from my experience I know only 3 accessible solutions:
1. Debian installation process is accessible.
2. Ubuntu. But the last time I tried to install ubuntu mate it wasn't
successfull because orca didn't announce anything while the installation
process so it didn't work in my case.
3. Arch linux installation process is completely accessible.
But for me as a beginner in linux it is a difficult distro, it is the
most accessible distro as far as I know where everything is done for
accessibility improvement, but in case of learning linux it is a
difficult one.
I would try to install debian in my case but the issue that I personally
have is the soundcard that doesn't work while the installation process.
It was fixed in arch but not in debian so I am personally lost.
I would recommend to try debian, I used it in a virtual machine and it
worked well enough, unfortunately I cannot install it to a real laptop.

Yes, that's what I mean. Which distros have an
accessible installation process? Ubuntu is one of them I guess? Is
there a more recommended distro?
