indexbraille has there own drivers which is using indexDirectBraille for 
printing non brf documents.


indexDirectBraille pushes file directly to the printer, and it is 
converted to the braille on this printer, using table and paper size set 
up in the printer settings menu.

v4 and v5 devices has linux on board and using liblouis.


may be such method will be usefull for you too, but this driver is a deb 
package.
