I like the idea of greying out a verbosity tab unless a custom option is
selected. Perhaps we could have the radiobutton group we have with
verbose and brief, but also add a custom option that will enable the
tab. Its label could be something like "custom, set in verbosity tab" or
similar, just to minimize confusion when custom is set and nothing
appears in the same window. Failing this, a verbosity tab could always
be visible, but only the verbosity setting itself could be in the tab
unless custom is set, at which time the options would appear. The
problem I can see with this is a technical one possibly, if causing
those options to appear would slow down the preferences window or
something else equally undesirable could happen.~Kyle
