Howdy,

I run QT and dbus-broker too without any issues. 
Can you verify if an what variables are really set? Like Samuel already noted, it looks like that they aren’t 
currently set properly as the variable it complains should be actually set too. Maybe the file is not parsed 
for any reason or something after that is overwriting the variable? Is there any content in .bashrc?
