QT5 needs to have some environment variables set to enable a11y. I can currently not say exactly as i m not 
at home.

To get more debugging information to give to the list, you can use:

 git clone https://salsa.debian.org/a11y-team/check-a11y
 cd check-a11y
 ./troubleshoot

and send us the output.

Also, could you send us the output

 ldd /usr/bin/gqrx | grep -i gui

so we can be sure which qt it is using.
