Re: [orca-list] Best application for making and receiving SIP (VoIP) calls?

If you've got linphone working in the gui, you also have the option to
use it from the command line. I would expect that could be either a
terminal session under the gui environment, or a console session. Point
is there is a cli client, linphonec. There's also a daemon, linphonecsh.

My problem with linphone is that it stopped responding to specific
device designations a year ago or more. I would love to start using it
again.

So, let me ask? What Linux platform? An d what build of linphone?

Thanks!

Dear Orca users/developers,

What is currently the most accessible option for SIP telephony under
Linux - that is, for making and receiving calls?

I don't mind whether it has a graphical interface (as long as it works
with Orca), or whether it has a console or command line interface.

It has been a while since I've used this type of software under Linux,
so I would gratefully appreciate up to date recommendations. I'm running
recent Orca from Git, with GNOME/Wayland on Arch Linux.
