Hmmm. I'm not sure that I necessarily like having to duplicate things.
Is there any abstraction that could be done so that Orca could use
gsettings if available and flat files if not without duplicating
things? In any case, I do like the way the GNOME and MATE control
centers are set up where in Orca for example, we would have things like
general settings, speech, braille, key echo, etc in a grid, and
choosing one of these would open only the appropriate settings, applied
as they are set, so that we could simply close the window to keep what
we set. Is something like this possible from within Orca itself, even
if gsettings can't be used, i.e. because the user only has a window
manager or a desktop environment that doesn't use gsettings?
