Re: [orca-list] latest master has problem getting into preferences

OK, so I discovered that actually the screen with the orca preferences
came up, but I had to hit escape when in the command window to see it --
I will send you the debug log separately in case you can do anything,
but at least I have a workaround -- gnome is a strange environment.

Aha, I misunderstood you. In your original message you stated, "if I

did not realize you logged in and then pressed Alt+F2 before
Insert+Space. But given what you say here:

Well, I am not sure what my distributions stable orca is, I have been

You think correctly. I just tried Alt+F2, then Insert+Space using master
and wound up in Orca's preferences dialog. Send me the debug.out you
capture -- or just look for the traceback that suggests something bad
happened with settings or your orca-customizations and provide that
here. If that is indeed what's taking place, the traceback should
hopefully be pretty obvious.

Thanks (and sorry for whatever I broke!)
