You're probably in luck there, too. Joanie's company is a member of
the w3c, which is in charge of those standards. I don't know whether
orca's algorithms need updating or the application in question needs
modifying. I'm guessing the application, but not sure. I think you
meant that if you're in an email window and you jump to another page,
orca still reads the text of the email message? This isn't limited to
structural navigation and is extremely annoying. This is also known,
and is filed against orca, if I could just find that bug number. We're
having trouble tracking down exactly what the problem is. I think it's
a firefox bug, others think it's orca, and still others think it's a
combination of orca and firefox bugs, so no one knows. This is already
on joanie's list. That reminds me, I need to work on getting more
debug info on that
