hi all
I've already asked this before, but I've been reading up on it so I'll
try to be brief. I eventually want to be able to send text through
orca and have it speak using my voice settings. The best, maybe the
only, way to do this it looks like, is to use at-spi2, which will
cause orca to echo the text. I've been looking into py-at-spi, but I'm
not very familiar with how it works. Could someone with some knowledge
of python give me some example code, maybe no more than a few lines,
that will cause orca to echo something so I can get the idea? My
ultimate goal is to be able to add speech support to tintin, so that
orca will read incoming text if you're not focused on the window,
replacing the current speech method, which uses speech-dispatcher. I
can see this being useful for all kinds of applications, not just mud
clients
Thanks
Kendell clark
