hi
Thanks for the clarification. I do have something orca is failing to
report, actually. I use enigmail to encrypt and sign most of my
emails, and orca cannot see the dialog for entering the passphrase for
unlocking the key. It's simply silent. I'm not at all sure this is an
orca issue, it could be that the dialog isn't presenting the correct
object:stateChanged:Focus, so orca is ignoring it. This can also
happen sometimes when gnome keyring authentication dialogs come up.
Sometimes orca will read them just fine, at other times orca will say
simply "window". Of course, you can tab around and flat review, so
it's not completely broken, it just doesn't read the window.
Thanks

Hi Kendell.
Thanks for the clarification. In terms of where to report bugs: If
the bug is that Orca is failing to present something, here's a good
place to report it. But if the bug is "Application foo is broken
for everyone," you should report it to the developers of foo.

hi Yup, that's what I'm reporting. Sorry if this is completely
off topic, I didn't know where else to report it. I can file a
bug against nautilus if needed. On the plus side, whatever bugs
were preventing orca from seeing content in wayland has been
fixed, both in gdm and in gnome Thanks Kendell clark Sent from

Hi Kendell.
If what you are reporting is: "There are no desktop icons when
I use Nautilus in Wayland," that doesn't seem like an
accessibility bug to me.

hi all This one isn't specifically about orca, but rather
gnome, so sorry if this is off topic. I've just begun using
gnome under wayland, and orca works pretty much the same with
it as it does when running under x, with one exception.
Nautilus for some reason refuses to show me the desktop. I've
verified that desktop icons are turned on in gnome tweak
tool, but the icons don't show up. I can sign up to the gnome
accessibility list if it's a better place to discuss this,
but the last time I tried to do that they wanted me to solve
a captcha, and the audio version wasn't understandable, with
lots of background noise and what sounded like several
languages being spoken at once. Is this a bug in gnome, and
if so, should I file it against files? Gnome shell? Thanks
