Re: [orca-list] More caret nav fixes committed to master and the gnome-3-14 branch

yes I saw Joanie's reply also and knew this much about focus vs browsing mode,
I was in the discussion my self.
The only thing I am confused is that if firefox is still not really good at helping with carrot navigation, is the option just as an experimental stuff or there is some guideline to be folow for keeping it enabled or disabled.
happy hacking.

Maybe K. is asking more in general re the snappier overall browsing experience that many of us are
experiencing.
As Joanie has stated the code that orca used to decide whether to switch modes was quite complex. Removing
comlex hacks
has surely speeded things up at the same time that it gives the user back some control that had been given to
the
algorhythm(s) that were deciding whether to switch between browse and focus modes.
I hope this simplistic explanation is more or less accurate.

Works very well.
I am loving this performance.
Just awaiting reply on my confusion.
Is the option for disabling "control carrot navigation " any thing to do
with more performance? And what are its direct effects.
Did you not see this reply I sent two days ago?
