Hey John.
Any chance you have NumLock enabled? If so, try toggling it off. If that
doesn't make a difference, using the list-of dialogs should make it
possible for you to activate the onClick without having to physically
click. The problem, of course, is that without any label on the play
button, Orca doesn't have anything meaningful to display. That problem
will need to be solved by the content creators.

OK, my problem seems to be that Orca says / when I hit kp / instead of
clicking. Other keys seem to work, so I am somewhat confused. For
instance if I hit the kp-+ the page is read, it seems that slash and
star are not working, although I have heard star work in the past.

Hey John.
1. Navigated to
http://www.pluralsight.com/courses/building-universal-store-apps-csharp-xaml
2. Pressed 3 to get to the line that starts with Table of Contents
(which is a heading level 3)
3. Pressed A to move to the clickable on that same line (it's after the
heading)
4. KP Slash to click on it (Orca says nothing due to not getting any
state-change events regarding expansion, but the expand happens).
5. Down Arrow to first item (introduction) which starts with a clickable
whose icon is a play button. (Would be nice if it had an accessible
name, but....)
6. KP Slash to click on it.
What I see visually after performing step 6 is that the mouse pointer
moves to that play button clickable. And Orca synthesized a click event
on it, just like happened in step 4. But because I don't have
credentials, clicking on that play button doesn't do anything. This is
true without Orca and physically using the mouse.
Maybe the above will solve your problem?
Regardless, I wouldn't mind having a dialog with these folks so that we
can get some better labeling of elements.

OK, how did you get orca to click on the right spot, for me hitting the
begin key on the numpad always just says plural site, the mouse seems to
e at the top of the page. Also, how did you get it to click on the
expand all link?
Thanks a lot for your help with this.

Hey John.
Thanks for this report! I tried following the steps without credentials
and got pretty far along, including using Orca to click on the item to
play a video. (Orca clicked in the right spot.) Of course, without
credentials I cannot actually play a video. I'd prefer to not give them
my credit card details, and I'm not comfortable asking you for your
credentials though I do appreciate your willingness to provide them. So
I've just emailed them explaining the situation and asking if I can have
a trial account of some sort without having to do either of the above.
Let's see what they say.

Hi. Using Orca from master, I am having some problems with
pluralsite.com. For most of these you will need to actually log in, so
you may need to sign up for a free trial, or privately, I can get
Joanmarie my credentials. The problems I am having are the clickable
items. ONce you do sign in, and browse or search for a course, there is
a table of contents and to see the whole course you have to click on
expand all. I did manage to do this, but it was rather hit or miss.
Now once you somehow do that try to do clickable on an individual item,
I was never able to do that -- hitting enter does not work, the current
flat review item is not in the correct place to route the mouse pointer,
and so I could never do this -- if you do you should bring up a player
where you can hear the video clip.
I hope this was clear. By the way, this works much better if layout
mode is unchecked.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
