Hi Joanie and all.

Am not sure, but seems that the problem happens when I use speakup.
For those who use speakup try the following:
1. Switch to a virtual console.
2. Press capslock+i.
3. Switch back to gnome.
4. Press the capslock key.
5. Type some text.

In my machine the text is typed in uppercase.
