Re: [orca-list] Orca crashes and fails to start (Arch/Gnome 3.8)

I'll consider the pulse config thing but I have modified my speech-dispatcher stuff to run with ALSA and I
run it as a central system service so that should be working. It worked for my normal starts login until the
mode setting error cropped up. But that seems to be a different problem. Maybe the reinstallation of xorg can
fix that modesetting module missing problem.

I did mention copying /etc/pulse/client.conf and enabling autospawn, but
this is in a different message, and likely even a different thread.
Anyway, copying the file to /var/lib/gdm/.config/pulse and enabling
autospawn in the new file should get your login speaking. If all else
fails, you can run

sudo pacman -Rs gnome gnome-extra xorg
sudo pacman -S gnome gnome-extra xorg

but this should be done only as a last resort, and is probably not
needed. Hope this helps.
