Re: [orca-list] Column Headers in Libreoffice Calc

Oh wow, I forgot all about checking that. I just got gnome up and
running this weekend and installed Libreoffice yesterday. I'm using
whatever the default is; I will look at this tonight and make sure
reading cell is chosen. That is what I always used in the past. I
forgot that option was even there.

Hey Steve.

Specifically if I move over to say, column C and have column A set as
a row header, I would expect to hear the A cell spoken plus the
contents of the current cell when I move up or down through column C.
Instead, I hear the contents of cell A plus the entire contents of the
current row including empty cells over to the right.

Hmmm. I'm not seeing this. But I have Orca set to speak cell rather than
speak row. Does changing that make a difference for you?

I'm using Libreoffice 4.0.4 for all this fun and games.

4.1.0.1 myself, but don't know if that has anything to do with it.

Take care.
