Hy,

Not possible to not setted right the use_underline property when the fix 
are committed in dbus-menu package?
If this is the case, the _ character are present the menue with the 
display. Unfortunately I doesn't see the screen output visualy.
Look what changes are happened few days with libdbusmenu package:
