Will 1.4 also help with accessibility of Gwibber? That would be awesome if it did, since Gwibber seems to be a neat app.

As Joanmarie said, webkit 1.4, while still far from being perfect (which
sw is perfect, btw?), should fix some of those oddities when it comes to
yelp + wkgtk integration.

And it's being released this week, so you should be able to get a nice
tarball to try it out very soon.
