Yes, unfortunately there are not many people complaining that this ....
aproach was choosen for mainstream.

If someone is not happy with the current default design of speechd he
can discus that in speechd mailinglist.
Maybe the people who are responsible for the new autospawn and
sessionintegration can give you useful advice to solve this.
