ON the Dectalk USB, I don't believe the USB bit works in Linux. The
company behind this synthesizer used to employ a lot of NDAs meaning
that open source drivers could not legally be written. If this is still
the case, I wouldn't get my hopes up. You can use it via the serial port
in Dectalk express emulation mode, but if that's what you're going to do
you'd be better off finding a used Dectalk express which would be a lot
cheaper.
