No, I think the problem behind the bug i reported is that gnome-speech
is telling espeak to speak "slash", instead of "/", ie, it is overriding
the TTS in the way punctuation is spoken.
This is why I don't see this problem when using speech-dispatcher, or
why doing 'espeak "/ /"' will produce "stroke stroke", while in Orca
they are spoken "slash slash" (this with default language).
Does this make sense, or am I totally on the wrong track?
Anyway, I'll try the patch and give feedback in bugzilla.
