Sounds great work, SD really needs a good audio output driver. I must
try it, time to get back to some source code, I am relying very much
on packages now I have moved to debian.

The libao driver is new and we didn't implement all posibilities.
Current status:
The sd driver uses libao and produces usable and (low latency)
audiooutput through pulseaudio and alsa.
Pulse can switch the audio cards and devices.
Switching the soundcard when alsa is selected in libao.conf isn't
implemented yet (but possible).
This can be added in the future after this stuff is merged in sd git.
Give it a try and see it works really fine! :-).
