[orca-list] accessing directories in terminal mode

Hi Tomas,
I changed the subject line to reflect our discussion. I am aware that the
directories are under the media directory, but I forgot to mention it.
Something is stopping me from accessing my directories. If I first open the
directory with the graphical computer icon, I can sometimes access the
directory with in a terminal, but this is not consistent. For example, I
can't find my gnome-speech directory, and I know that it is there because
gnome speech services are installed and Orca is working.

Hello Bob, I believe you can, the only problem being you don't know
where to look for them. The Gnome file manager shows the things
organized for your convenience, but in terminal, you need to know where
exactly is each drive/directory mounted to the filesystem. Removable
drives, for example, are mounted under the /media directory on Debian
(this should be similar on Ubuntu). All mount points can be listed
using the mount command. Hope this helps. Tomas
