OK - it's probably something in the Orca module for speech dispatcher
that's not using chnames.py. Let's just leave it at that for now. We
can roll this into the other speech-related thread happening on this
list.

Even stranger: In Gnome-Speech everything works, and, the most
astonishing, also when you choose SD as output module.
And BTW: The "@" is already pronounced correct - slightly with a
German accent, but I've corrected it with the
customization script.
