Hi Fabrizio,
maybe you experience the same problem than I did.
If so, deactivate the notification-daemon:
update-rc.d -f notification-daemon remove
Do this as root.
Note: This command is for Debian systems including Ubuntu. If you have a
different system, the command is different, so you have to ask again.
