I only have one sound card. Is it possible that orca doesn't support my
soundcard? But then again, if it didn't, then I wouldn't hear the startup
sound. I've also tried to connect my Braille display (I have a Pac mate 20
cell display). The same thing occurred. I wonder if orca supports it.

I know people have had problems using on of those intel Macs but other than
that, who knows. If you have two sound cards, make sure orca isn't coming
out of the other one but you would think if the startup was heard that orca
would use the same card.Installed a system a couple weeks ago, quite
complicated.
