Hi Leonid,
which Feisty did you test?
Till a few days ago there seemed to be a bug in Feisty, so that Orca didn't
work correctly.
I recommend to use the very latest Feisty:
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/feisty-desktop-i386.iso
Note: If you're running a 64 bit machine, replace "i386" by "amd64".
Do you hear the startup music?
