Hello Dan,

thank you for the answer.

Really, there isn't so much to explain: I only noted that the Network
Manager icon disappeared from the notification area of my panel in Xfce,
when I updated GTK+ to the 3.16.1-1 version and, if I tried to launch it
manually, I recived thes messages:

/$ nm-applet

(nm-applet:1215): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: The property
GtkButton:use-stock is deprecated and shouldn't be used anymore. It will
be removed in a future version.

(nm-applet:1215): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: The property
GtkSettings:gtk-button-images is deprecated and shouldn't be used
anymore. It will be removed in a future version.

(nm-applet:1215): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: The property GtkMisc:yalign
is deprecated and shouldn't be used anymore. It will be removed in a
future version.

(nm-applet:1215): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: The property GtkImage:stock
is deprecated and shouldn't be used anymore. It will be removed in a
future version.

(nm-applet:1215): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: The property
GtkSettings:gtk-menu-images is deprecated and shouldn't be used anymore.
It will be removed in a future version.

So I reinstalled the previous version of GTK+ (3.14.9-1) and the icon
was visible again.

That's all.

I just notisced that also other people has the same problem (see for
example https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/44504).

Jirka, can you look into this?

Thanks!
Dan

'firewall-applet' & 'nm-applet' icons don't appear - 2015-04-04
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1208969

Did Matthias pick up my message or not, ask him - 2015-04-07
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1208183#c6
however
Revert "image: Optimize non-resize changes"
https://git.gnome.org/browse/gtk+/commit/?h=gtk-3-14&id=2e733c2

So now it works OK with gtk3-3.14.12-1.fc21
https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2015-5920/gtk3-3.14.12-1.fc21

I had no problemos with gtk3-3.16.x - >= Xfce 4.12.

And that's it.
