Give this a shot:

MM 0.5.x should be API compatible with MM 0.4.x, so even though it's a
version bump NetworkManager will still be able to talk to it.  Although
you are using a pretty old version of NetworkManager :)  The last Fedora
14 NetworkManager update was NetworkManager-0.8.5.93-1 from October 25,
2011, which is about one year newer than the version you're running.
