Re: NM 0.7.0.100 and Slackware



Ok sorry to bother again. I did some experiments and applied a patch
which I mainly did to test if it will help something
to not change the hostname.

So here are again some results and the patch I applied.

I have recompilled NM with the patch and then started it from the terminal.
In the logs you can see what was going on. It seems that it starts
dhclient and obtains the ip but it doesnt set it up correctly.

Can somebody comment it ?
